Chapter 1
I was feeling a little remorseful as I left Abigail's office that hours of daylight. I'm not completely sure why, or even what was bothering me. I was vexed about my employment for sure, but it was more than that. Incredibly, it might have been that I was air like I was using Abigail and not the other manner around. However, I knew that wasn't rational. Abigail hunted what happened. Hell, she fit it up. Still, when one is raised a convinced way, it has an effect on how one looks at the planet. I was raised to respect women so it was against my scenery to treat them similar I had Abigail. Little did I know at that schedule that I had the room to play them all.

As I headed back to my classroom, I approved Katie leaving the administrative offices. I couldn't decipher her face. Maybe she was infuriated at what I had done-pulling her into the department like that. Or possibly she was jealous. I thought "hi" anyway.
I was anxious about Katie's reply, so at the last part of the day I went to her office. Her office was tiny like mine but much neater. She was merely cleaning up her writing table as I walked in.

Finally, when the drinks came and we had consumed about half, Katie spoke. "I want... wanted to give reasons for..... you realize why I was departure Dean VanBuren's dynasty Sunday morning."
I tried not to show my startle. Amazingly, she wasn't fuming about what I had done today but rather anxious about being caught coming out of Abigail's house." But I actually wanted her to. It had to be a high-quality story.

I had heard that before.
"I couldn't have ever gotten a employment at such a major college without her. I'm only twenty-six and I'm already instruction college. That's attractive good for a teen that wasn't anywhere close to being a valedictorian." She took a drop of her drink and I motto her hand tremulous.
"She had a ration of great candidates to chose from, some with lots of experience, but she chose me."
I knew how she felt.

She unspoken that I knew that she had "been by" her. Her postponement over could have been safe. Yea, right! Remember, I thought I was na‹ve.

"Female, male... it doesn't if truth be told matter to Abi... Dean VanBuren." For the first time Katie smiled. "I... I am not that... uh you recognize... experienced sexually."
I must have looked cynical because she held, "I'm not. I was..... a very shy role."

"Well, I guess we had superior get going. I necessary to feed my afflict." It was the first phenomenon that either of us had understood that didn't have to do with masculinity.
"You have a beleaguer?" Katie asked.
"Yes, a black lab."

My apartment building was on the flash floor of a portly house. The entrance was in back, upstairs and there was a copious screened in veranda that overlooked a great big back yard and wood. The owners were an elder couple that I seldom saw. However, I tried to keep as fully as possible.
We walked up the steps and I opened the screened door. Bo practically knocked me down.

"Here," I understood and opened the screened exit behind Katie. Bo bolted out and headed down the steps.
"Aren't you scared he'll take off?"
"No, I have one of those insubstantial fences.
